Downtown Chatham is one of my go-to locations whenever I’m on the Cape. Main Street has New England charm written all over it. Local boutiques, gift shops, restaurants, and more stretch for nearly a mile long. My mom and I love popping into Yankee Ingenuity (funky crafts + gifts), Fisherman’s Daughter (an eco-friendly shop that sells everything from earrings to air plants), Chatham Cookware (for a snack + a cup of coffee or lunch), The Mayflower (our favorite home-goods store), Mark August (think beachy crafts meet home furnishings), Soft As a Grape (I've purchased all of my favorite Cape Cod sweatshirts here), and Tale of the Cod (gifts + home goods). The Chatham Bars Inn is also close to downtown Chatham, probably a 10-15 min walk & 2 min drive. The hotel is well known for it's charm & beautiful property overlooking the ocean. All of the houses & properties on Shore Road are insanely gorgeous, and it's impossible to lose sight of the ocean. Fun fact: the infamous "Hydrangea House" is located on Shore Road! I secretly love seeing the Hydrangea House change with the seasons.
