DAY TRIP TO NANTUCKET

Nantucket’s “off season” is an underrated luxury that boasts the convenience of missing summer crowds while still being able to explore all the island has to offer. If you’re interest in visiting Nantucket during the off season, I recommend choosing either the month of September or the months of April – May. My friends & I took a day trip to Nantucket in September, which is when these photos were taken! The weather was mild enough that we were able to walk around the island without needing to wear coats, and I imagine April – May would be very similar.

A few highlights from the day were: walking around Nantucket’s Historic District, Brant Point Lighthouse, stopping by the White Elephant hotel, shopping along Straight Wharf (Lilly Pulitzer & Vineyard Vines), grabbing ice cream at the Juice Bar, hopping on a bus out to ‘Sconset, stumbling upon the ‘Sconset bluff walk, Sankatay Head Light, and to end the trip on a high note – enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the harbor.
